South Sudan’s imminent rainy season is causing concerns about a possible outbreak of malaria in a country that is already dealing with humanitarian crises from past floods and conflict.
In a situational report, medical charity Doctors Without Borders, officially known as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), says it has treated 22,400 people for malaria in the first three months of 2021.
