Kenya is pledging neutrality in the Sudan conflict despite the latter’s protests with regional bloc Intergovernmental Authority on Development (Igad) saying it will implement decisions agreed upon on seeking peace.
On Monday, Kenya led Ethiopia, Djibouti and South Sudan in drawing up a plan for the Sudan peace bid and said they would implement the roadmap agreed by Igad last week during the Ordinary Assembly in Djibouti.
