As Uganda's Cabinet debates the health and financial merits of marijuana, it has emerged that the country has been importing tonnes of fertilised weed seeds and potting soils, worth billions of shillings.
At least five containers of potting soils (150 tonnes) and cannabis seeds (2,000kgs) entered the country last year from various seed banks of Netherlands and Sri Lanka.
