South Africa may find itself in the spotlight again after the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of war crimes in Ukraine.

But that may bring bad memory for South Africa’ capital Pretoria which has enjoyed tight relations with Moscow in spite of Western condemnations.
