The Comesa competition Commission (CCC) has flagged trading malpractices and “cartel-like behaviours” by companies colluding to exploit consumers within the common market.

The watchdog says in its latest annual report (2024) that anti-competitive trading practices prevent the well-functioning of markets and undermine the regional integration agenda.
