The United States has triggered a flurry of security measures after warning of an imminent al-Shabaab attack in Somalia.
The US embassy in Mogadishu issued an alert to Americans in Somalia, saying it was tracking “credible information” of potential imminent attacks on multiple locations in the country, including Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport.
