The Sudanese Prime Minister's Office on Sunday announced that the house arrest of Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok has been lifted following a power deal reached with the military for his return to office.

Sources said the army withdrew the security forces that were stationed in front of Hamdok's house, and that the Sudanese prime minister will go to the presidential palace.
