Kenya opens border for Africans, reciprocity remains elusive

When Kenya joined Rwanda, Ghana, Gambia and the Seychelles as African countries that have officially removed visa requirements for citizens of other African and Caribbean countries, problems emerged.

Passengers routinely complained of tedious application for the electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA), which had to be made 72 hours before the inbound flight and for which a $30 fee had to be paid.
