Kenyan authorities are still flagging Somalia’s Second Deputy Prime Minister, Jibril Abdirashid Abdi, as an undesirable immigrant because he is suspected of fomenting militia activity near the border between the two countries.
Mr Abdi, who was deported from Kenya earlier this year for refusing to hand over his Kenyan passport, announced on Monday that he had returned the document to affirm his loyalty to the Somali government.
