Ethiopia is blaming foreigners for fuelling the new conflict that has broken out in the Tigray region.
President Taye Atske Selassie Amde accused “forces of destruction and mayhem” of fomenting the latest escalation, urging external actors “to respect the sacred right of the people of the Horn of Africa to live in peace and prosperity.”
