US Ebola patient discharged from German hospital after recovery

A US citizen who became infected with the Ebola virus in Democratic Republic of Congo was discharged from Frankfurt University Hospital on Tuesday after making a full recovery, the hospital said in a statement.

The patient had been admitted to the hospital's special isolation unit on July 13 after contracting the Bundibugyo variant of the Ebola virus in Congo
