Britam Holdings Plc is racing to conclude a deal on the acquisition of a Congolese financial services firm in less than four months.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE)-listed insurer is expanding its foothold into the Democratic Republic of Congo, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, in a plan to diversify revenue sources and lessen sovereign risks.
