The Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court has granted permission to Tanzanian opposition leader and Chadema chairman Tundu Lissu to represent himself in his ongoing treason trial.
Lissu, who appeared in court backed by a legal team of over 30 lawyers, made the request before Senior Resident Magistrate Franko Kiswaga after the lawyers had introduced themselves.
