Kenya’ s delegation to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly last month was about 100 people. By comparison, the United Kingdom sent around five delegates, while Singapore and Sweden sent between 10 and 15 people. Superpower China sent around 25 delegates.
In 2019, Kenya sent a delegation of around 90 people to a legislative conference in the US. Nigeria, not famous for official frugality, sent less than 30 people. Japan and Brazil sent six and nine delegates respectively.
