Conflict, irregular migration tunnel EU-Africa relations

The European and African unions, two of the world’s largest blocs, say they want to strengthen their partnership and boost each other’s economies. However, the policies of both parties remain focused on the traditional issues of conflict and irregular migration.

This week, some 70 delegations of ministers and senior government officials gathered in Brussels, the headquarters of the EU, to discuss the future of their collaboration.
