Uganda’s largest pension scheme, the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), has declared a 22.53 per cent interest rate on members’ savings for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, the highest rate in the fund’s four-decade history.
Over 2.4 million members of the pension fund were by 1pm on Thursday Ush5.2 trillion ($1.33 billion) richer as the money was posted on savers’ accounts.
