The future of the African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (Aussom) is shaky after world leaders remained deadlocked in the UN Security Council.

The latest event puts a dumper to the hope that had swept through March and April, which has since quickly turned into desperation for the African Union and its latest peacekeeping mission in Somalia.
