Uganda and Rwanda are projected to post faster growth in their logistics and warehousing sectors than Kenya over the next five years, driven by rising trade volumes, infrastructure investments and the growing adoption of outsourced logistics services. While Kenya will remain East Africa’s largest logistics hub, the stronger growth rates in its neighbours signal a shift in where new demand across the region is emerging.

Research by Indian consulting firm Ken Research estimates that Kenya’s logistics and warehousing market was worth $6.34 billion in 2025 and will expand at an annual rate of 7.3 percent between 2026 and 2031.
